I paint from my studio in East Kent and draw my inspiration from the beautiful buildings around the area and the lovely flowers in my garden. More recently I have created beach scenes from the Deal and Dover coasts.

From a fairly early age I was drawn to watercolour paintings for their delicacy and had purchased several from local artists always vaguely wishing I could paint myself. Imagine my delight when I started to learn to paint and I am sure this is what has influenced me when I came to choose watercolour as my medium.

Recently I have been working with coloured pencils and my aim is to exhibit at the Society of Botanical Artists some time in the future.

My ambition has been achieved - my painting of the rose "Telford's Promise" is showing at The Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) from the 25th April until the 3rd May 2009 at Methodist Hall Westminster!
